Class 3-207 just watched most of this video. We saw and heard the following:

Clapping, drums, percussion, what looked like a banjo on someone’s knee, stringed instrument from Morocco, we saw Berber women and men singing, yellow dresses, white gowns, sparkles on the dresses, flowers, the trees were skinny and tall, the Atlas mountains in the distance, we saw horses, sheep or goats grazing in the fields by the water or lake. The men wore white robes and turbans.

What did you see and hear?

    Hadassa from 3-205 saw:

The ladies are wearing yellow dresses.
I see sheep eating grass in the field in the distance.

    Gurpreet:

At first the lady sang and then the men sang.
The men were wearing all white and playing drums.

    Matthew:

    I saw a man playing a banjo.
I saw ladies dancing and singing.

    Mr. Silva saw:

There were cedar trees in the background.

    Isiah:

I saw broadcast people in the background – they are the people that recorded the performance.

Class 3/4/5-105 also watched this video performance. We observed the following:

The pine trees that grow in the Atlas mountains of Morocco are called cedar trees and were in the background of the film.

We saw animals grazing in the distance.

The man playing the stringed instrument looked like a spirit man in the sky. There is a lady who is singing who is wearing a golden dress and what looks like a flowered band in her hair.

The woman sang as if she were a beautiful magic flute! Her voice is very strong and loud. All of the girls were wearing yellow dresses. First the men playing the rhythm start singing, then the woman lead singer sings and after the chorus of women answer and dance. This is the order of how they sing this song. Yellow is one of the most expensive colors to create in clothing. http://www.immortalminiatures.com/dyes.html
