Lesson Plan Fourth Grade

Madagascar Information Flyer repurposed into a trifold travel brochure.

·      Motivation: Examining an adventure tour website with an eight day itinerary.

·      Where are the highlighted destinations and activities?

·      What makes this an adventure tour rather than a typical tourist itinerary?

 

Students will continue reformatting their one page information flyers repurposing them to be a trifold travel brochure.

 

Performance tasks include but are not limited to:

 

·      Designing the trifold brochure to have a title page, back page and “things to do” page.

·      Designing the second page to focus on details of what travelers can do while visiting Madagascar.

·      Researching actual places of interest and planning an itinerary.
