Homework is fun.But sometimes it’s hard, like 9×9=81. I did it! You see, homework is a test for the mind and common sense. In other words knowledge. And knowledge is priceless: D

Mrs.Heym – Come Back January 3rd! (Aaron 3-204)

Mrs.Heym come back! We love and miss you! Where are you now? We need a H-E-Y-M in our school…or else bad things might happen. Like how we need Ms.Fernandez and Ms.Snow at school. Get the point? Well we need Mrs.Heym. But we’ll probably won’t see Mr.Heym or Madelyn Ann or Charlotte Rose on January 3rd. Can’t help hoping.

A Christmas Present by: Serena Parke

December 25, I look at my Christmas tree with several presents with my name on it from my friends and family. Throughout my life I always get presents but there’s a mystery present, wrapped up with question marks. My cheeks burn, my face color changes, my legs shake I shiver weirdly as I was handed over the present I had quickly ripped it open there it was, a new nail salon set, my heart pounded so loud I was sure that my whole family can hear it pounding I hugged my family and jumped for joy it meant so much for me, I kept the wrapping with the Christmas question marks on it. That was a Christmas present a child would want. The way I look at it Christmas is the best holiday anybody can celebrate- especially with your family, Merry Christmas                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Serena A.C Parke

Understanding the Winter Solstice

Figure 6h-4: Annual change in the position of the Earth in its revolution around the Sun. In this graphic, we are viewing the Earth from a position in space that is above the North Pole (yellow dot) at the summer solstice, the winter solstice, and the two equinoxes. Note how the position of the North Pole on the Earth’s surface does not change. However, its position relative to the Sun does change and this shift is responsible for the seasons. The red circle on each of the Earths represents the Arctic Circle (66.5 degrees N). During the June solstice, the area above the Arctic Circle is experiencing 24 hours of daylight because the North Pole is tilted 23.5 degrees toward the Sun. The Arctic Circle experiences 24 hours of night when the North Pole is tilted 23.5 degrees away from the Sun in the December solstice. During the two equinoxes, the circle of illumination cuts through the polar axis and all locations on the Earth experience 12 hours of day and night. Seasons are appropriate only for the Northern Hemisphere.

My Peace Song By Christina 3-204

And in the school there was some children

PEACE is here, PEACE is there, PEACE is everywhere, where?
Ms Fernandez had a school,
P-E-A-C-E
