Hello reporting live news from P.S.119. Telling you the real truth. The truth about P.S.119. The truth is P.S.119 is a peace school only representing peace. In my defense I think other schools should be peaceful. P.S.119 shows intelligence, respect, and loyalty. The teachers fill your head  with smart words. I go to P.S.119 and I go to P.S.119 and I tell you the truth.

Anthony Ramcharran’s Transformer Transformed Rotunda BRIC

Yesterday, when I went to the closing ceremonies at the Rotunda BRIC Gallery to see PS 119’s incredible art exhibition, I was astounded by the arresting and provoking images made by our talented students. The one image that stood out for me was this striking image, which obviously made an impact on the curators as well since it was used in such proliferation.  Kudos to Anthony!  Best, Mr. Jump

My Birthday by Stephen

On my birthday I had a strawberry cake with vanilla with a fairy on the top. At my party we played some games like: hide-n-seek, tag and we had computer time. My party is going was so much fun. After the games we drank some juice. We also ate some cupcakes. I like the present I got. I got a computer for my birthday with a touch screen. Then it was time to cut my cake. We are going to put candles on the cake and light it at night. I blew out my candles on my strawberry cake with a fairy on top and I wished it was my birthday every day. Mrs. Berretta told me if I wrote about my birthday she would post it on the blog and she did! Next year I want to be in The Lantern and she promised I would if I write another great story focused on one main idea with vivid details!

I’ll come again soon to visit you

Farewell Fifth Grade By Shamyah Vilfort 5-304

Dear Fifth Graders,
I,  Shamyah Vilfort just wanted to say farewell as we are going our separate ways to junior high school. I just wanted to say that I will miss some of you, but don’t worry I wont forget the times we had together as fifth graders. I hope that we all make it to the sixth grade so when we go to college we will be ready to go through the real world. When we leave this year we will remember the good times and the bad the happy times and the sad times. I hope you like my letter.
Love,
Shamyah
